DOG-TAG CHECKS PLANNED IN PULASKI

The Pulaski County Animal Control Department will be checking for current dog tags in February.

Dog tags should have been purchased by Thursday. A part-time employee has been hired to assist in checking tags. Tags may be purchased at the county treasurer's office. There is a $5 fee for male and female dogs and a $3 charge for neutered dogs. Owners must present a current certificate of inoculation against rabies to purchase a tag.

Also, the Dublin Shelter new hours are Monday-Friday, 1-2 p.m., as well as 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
