COMMUNITY ACTION PLANS TAX ASSISTANCE

New River Community Action will participate in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, which provides free income tax preparation services to low-income, handicapped or elderly individuals.

Assistance will be given with 1040EZ and 1040A tax forms only. Participants are requested to bring necessary papers and documentation with them during their appointment.

Assistance will be provided at the following Community Action locations by appointment only:

Floyd County Area Office, Route 2, Floyd, 745-2102.

Montgomery County and Radford Area Office, Christiansburg, 382-6186.

Giles County Area Office, Pearisburg, 921-2146.
