MUTCH LEADS CARLISLE

Justin Mutch tossed in 26 points Thursday to lead Carlisle to a 56-51 victory over Lynchburg Christian Academy in high school boys' basketball.

Carlisle (12-5 overall, 8-4 in the Virginia Independent Conference) led by 12 points entering the fourth quarter, but LCA rallied with three 3-point field goals.

Bradd Gunn added 12 points for Carlisle.
