PULASKI CHURCH REPORTS RECYCLING PROGRESS

In the 28 months First Presbyterian Church has promoted recycling, 28 tons of glass and more than a ton of aluminum have been kept out of the landfill, according to a church newsletter. More than 76,000 cans have been recycled.

Financial benefits total $2,500 collected, with Community Recycling using the money to buy 103 food baskets and other emergency needs for the destitute.

The church will continue to be a collection point for glass and aluminum.
