OBIT DEFOE, D.

DEFOE, DAVID B./ David Byron DeFoe, age 41, of Roanoke, died at his home. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He is survived by one son, Daniel Olivier DeFoe of France; parents, Rev. James V. and Frances C. DeFoe of Roanoke; one brother, James V. DeFoe, Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Loraine D. Hughes of Chesapeake; Jan D. Jessee of Roanoke. Private graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday.
