BLACKSBURG PRAISED FOR FINANCIAL REPORTING

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting to the Town of Blacksburg for its annual financial report for fiscal 1989.

It is the 11th consecutive year the town has received this award. Copies of the report are available at the Financial Department in the municipal building or can be reviewed at the library on Draper Road.
