PULASKI HOSPITAL OFFERS UROLOGY CARE

Pulaski Community Hospital offers a urological care and treatment, "from minor problems up through major radical cancer surgery and even reconstructive urological surgery," according to Gerald Zel, a urologist there.

The urologists at Pulaski Community can treat pediatric urological problems, kidney stones, cancer, impotence and stress incontinence, a hospital news release says.

Zel came to Pulaski from Seattle in July 1989. Before that, he had two tours with the Navy, including Vietnam. With the Navy in Norfolk, he was involved in diving and submarine medicine.

His training includes lithotripsy (kidney stone dissolving using ultrasound) and his specialty is pediatric urology, according to the news release.
