PH WINS TRACK MEET AT VMI

Patrick Henry won the inaugural Big Five indoor track and field meet Thursday at VMI.

The Patriots finished with 161 team points to best E.C. Glass (119), William Fleming (78 1/2), Heritage (74) and GW-Danville (56 1/2).

Team scores for boys' and girls' teams were combined to determine the overall champion.

Patrick Henry's girls dominated their half of the meet, scoring 116 points of the school's total.
