RURAL RETREAT SCHOOLS TO HOLD SCIENCE FAIR

A Science Fair will be held at Rural Retreat High and Elementary School Thursday and Friday in three divisions - grades 5-7, 8-9 and 10-12.

Projects in the fields of earth science, physical science, chemistry and biology will be judged on such categories as originality, use of the scientific method and display effectiveness.

Faculty members from Wytheville Community College, science teachers from area high schools and local industry people will do the judging before the fair opens to the public Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the new school gymnasium. It will reopen Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
