20-YEAR-OLD CHARGED IN THEFT OF WARRANTS

A 20-year old Austinville man has been charged with stealing warrants from the magistrate's office at the Wythe County jail.

John David Lancaster is accused of stealing public documents, warrants charging him with driving under the influence.

The theft happened last June 23. Lancaster was arrested Wednesday.
