SEVEN CHURCHES JOIN IN LENT OBSERVANCE

Seven Churches of the Brethren in Franklin County will cooperate in sponsoring Sunday night worship services in observance of Lent, which starts Feb. 13.

Participating are Bethlehem, Germantown Brick, Monte Vista, Boones Mill, Bethany, Cedar Bluff and Antioch congregations.

On the Sunday nights at 7 from Feb. 17 through March 17 worship and speakers will be rotated among five churches. On Palm Sunday a combined choir directed by Shirley Fike will sing at Antioch Church at 4 and 7 p.m.
