COOPER REPORTS INCOME INCREASE

Cooper Industries Inc., parent of Gardner-Denver Mining and Construction of Roanoke, reported 1990 net income of $361.4 million, up 35 percent from $267.8 million a year earlier. Revenues increased to a record $6.2 billion from $5.1 billion, a 22 percent gain.
