Guests will bid on getaways at country inns, beach weekends and a Virgin Islands trip among the 29 or more vacations donated by the travel industry.
Sponsors include Cox Cable of Roanoke, The Jefferson Club, WFIR/WPVR Radio, American Airlines, Frenchman's Reef, Mountain Lake Resort, Krug Hotels and Travelmasters.
The vacations usually sell for 50 percent to 70 percent of retail value. Proceeds go to the Leukemia Society's patient aid program, which assists more than 500 people in Southwest Virginia and helps fund research at the University of Virginia and Medical College of Virginia.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The charge of $8 per person includes admission and hors d'oeuvres.
