Mrs. Pearl Olivia Ricks DeBerry of 1016 Hanover Avenue, N.W., passed away in a local hospital on Friday. She was the widow of William T. DeBerry Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Barbara D. Bethel and Ms. Mollie C. DeBerry; two sons, Myron K. DeBerry and William T. DeBerry Jr., all of Roanoke; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Douglas Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y.; Mrs. Thelma Kearney and Mrs. Melba Brooks, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and other relatives. The remains will be placed in St. Gerard's Catholic Church on Monday for a Christian Wake to be held at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Lloyd Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Williams Memorial Park. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
