CANTY-SCOTT

Mr. and Mrs. William S. Canty, of Sterling, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carla Jeanette, to Richard Eldon Scott, son of Eldon and Elisabeth Scott, of Girard, Ohio.

Miss Canty is a graduate of Radford University, where she received her degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is employed by Roanoke City Schools.

Mr. Scott, who is a graduate of Youngstown State University, received his degree in Electrical Engineering. He is employed by General Electric in Roanoke.

Their wedding will take place at Saint Andrews Catholic Church in Roanoke on June 15.
