RADFORD - Lindsey McKinley Brookman, age 84, passed away Sunday, February 3, 1991, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a retired manager of the Radford News Journal. He was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Brookman, and one daughter, Yvonne Brookman. Survivors include his wife, Ibra Q. Brookman, Radford; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Don (LaVerne) Sizemore, Dublin; one stepson, Gary D. Quesenberry, Dublin; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Akers, Pulaski; Mrs. Hazel Burkhart, Crescent City, Calif.; Mrs. Helen Perdue, Narrows; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Don Sizemore and the Rev. Jiggs Bruce officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Pulaski. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home in Radford.
