SUPPORT MORALITY IN EACH OTHER'S FAITH

AS A MEMBER and devout follower of the Islamic faith, and married to a Christian wife for five years, I find it very important that we support morality in each other's faith.

Islam and Christianity both address right living, so as religious people I suggest that we pool our minds and resources to make a better, cleaner, moral, physical and a needed spiritual society for us and our children.

Islam and Christianity have differences in belief. However, that difference is 10 percent, while the commonality is 90 percent. Why not embrace one another, and focus on the criminal ills and/or behaviors that face us all?

Finally, I say: Stand up, Christians and Jews and Moslems, unite in an interfaith effort. We can solve those major issues. The Creator (God) has made us responsible for correcting the ills that confront us daily. We must come out of the mosques, churches and synagogues, and serve the people wherever they are. OMAR T.
