Joseph Stephen Lindamood, age 16, of Bland, Va. died Sunday, February 3, 1991, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital following an auto accident. He was a sophomore at Bland High School, a member of the Beta Club, the French Club, the Bland Rockets Varsity Basketball Team and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, Lanny S. and Diane B. Lindamood, Bland; one sister, Lana Lindamood, Bluefield, Va.; one brother, Paul Lindamood, of the home; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Nell Bohara, Bland; his paternal grandmother, Beulah N. Lindamood, Bland; two aunts, Janice Horne; Arlene Bridges, both of Bland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 1991, at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Jackson, the Rev. Larry Rye and the Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Interment will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery, near Bland, Va. The family will receive friends at the Newberry Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Newberry Funeral Home in Bland, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
