Carva Daris Shelor, age 79, died Monday, February 4, 1991, in a Radford hospital. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and is survived by his wife, Mary Vest Shelor; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pat Collier, Christiansburg; Frances and Donald Bowyer, Toano, Va.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Curtis Shelor, Christiansburg; Windel and Diann Shelor, Christiansburg; a sister, Sylvia Walker, Radford; three brothers, Albert Rosboro Shelor, Salem; Janna G. Shelor, Christiansburg; Darcie C. Shelor, Floyd; one granddaughter and her husband, Angela and John Thompson. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, conducted by Mr. Sonny Furrow and Mr. Bobby Sutphin with burial in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
