RADIO CARRYING BIG EAST MOVE

Most of the stations on Virginia Tech's sports radio network will air a live broadcast of today's news conference announcing the formation of the Big East football conference, which will include the Hokies.

Airtime is 11:25 a.m.

In the Roanoke Valley, WSLC (610 AM) will air the live broadcast from Providence, R.I., as will Tech affiliates WVVV (104.9 FM) and WJJJ (1260 AM) in Christiansburg.

Other Tech affiliates that will carry the meeting include stations in Rocky Mount, Radford, Clifton Forge, Martinsville, Wytheville, Danville, Lynchburg, Marion, Narrows and Staunton.

Tech network play-by-play man Bill Roth will anchor the broadcast, which will run until the conclusion of the news conference.
