The Warriors attempted to slow the tempo early, but the strategy cost them on the offensive end. Magna Vista (7-9 overall, 6-8 Piedmont) scored six points in each of the first two quarters and fell behind 27-12.
J.J. Morrison paced Laurel Park (16-1, 13-1) with a game-high 22 points. Lamont Wells added 15 points and center Odell Hodge 13 to the balanced Lancers attack.
Melvin Hairston led the Warriors with 19 points. Lewis Woodward and Brian Taylor contributed 10 each.

Northwood (10-8, 7-5) erased a six-point deficit in the final 1:30 of regulation, and the game went into overtime tied at 60. The Panthers never scored again over the Wythe zone.
George Wythe (13-3, 11-1) got a 3-point goal from Chris Waddell to open overtime and never looked back. Waddell finished with a game-high 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Gary Arnold led Northwood with 13 points.

Gretna (8-9, 6-8) outscored Tunstall (9-6, 8-5) 30-22 in the fourth, with Womack picking up 14 of his points and Hall chipping in 12. Roddie Locust, who added 13 points, keyed the offense by dishing off to the big men.
Tunstall (9-6, 8-5), which led at the half and most of the third, slowed down. Gretna stopped playmaker Khris Law from penetrating, but he finished with 20 points.
