WHY SO MUCH NEWS ABOUT HOMOSEXUALS?

COULD IT be that Sam Garrison has a seat on your editorial board? Or could it be that someone in the newspaper's higher echelon has political aspirations and is courting the homosexual community?

Whatever, it's perplexing to see the amount of ink the Roanoke Times & World-News has been giving homosexuals and their cheerleaders of late. I'm not for physical bashing of homosexuals. But as for some criticisms of them, if they can't stand the heat, they could go back in the closet.

If homosexuals are being so discriminated against, why do so many of them flaunt their sexual orientation with public displays of affection? My observances and reluctant association with homosexuals lead me to believe that sex is their primary interest and that their talk of love and companionship is merely a smoke screen.

Perhaps your paper would like a bureau in San Francisco with its office on Castro Street.
