OBIT MADDOX, F.

Frances Price Maddox, age 81, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Tuesday in a local hospital. She was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church and is survived by her husband of forty years, Ray D. Maddox; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald R. and Donna Maddox; a granddaughter, Tabitha K. Maddox, all of Roanoke; a brother, Benjamin F. Price; and a sister, Hattie P. Robertson, both of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Rev. Harold C. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 9:00 a.m. Thursday where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
