OBIT CARDEN, G.

Garnett Lee Carden, 69, died Tuesday in a Radford Hospital. Surviving are one daughter, Beverly Joyce Carden, Brooklyn. N.Y.; one son, William Lee Carden, Staten Island, N.Y.; one sister, Hilda Carden Kresowaty, San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Clarence E. Carden, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Devilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the Devilbiss Funeral Home.
