WRIGHT, JAMES K., JR.

Mr. James Kimbyl Wright, Jr., (better know as Jim Wright) 66, died Wednesday, February 6, 1991, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Winston-Salem, N. C. Born August 22, 1924 in LaGrange, Ga., to James K. Wright, Sr. and Rosa Hessler Wright. He was a retired civil construction engineer with the Ohio Power Company with twenty years service. He served in the U. S. Navy in World War II and the Pacific Campaign with twenty-four years service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Aileen Poole Wright of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, James K. III and Linda Wright of Richmond, Va.; William R. and Toni Wright of Nokesville, Va.; one grandson, Jason Wright, Richmond, Va.; one brother, Bill Wright of Opelika, Ala. Funeral service Will be conducted Friday at 11:00 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mary Berridge officiating. Interment in the Independence Cemetery. The body will remain at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday night 7:00 until 9:00. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Grayson County V. F. W. Post No. 7726. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, is in charge of the arrangements.
