NO WINNER DRAWN IN WEDNESDAY LOTTO

There was no winner in the Wednesday drawing for the Virginia Lottery Lotto game, state officials said.

The six numbers drawn were 25, 27, 29, 34, 37 and 39. A winning ticket would have been worth more than $3.7 million, according to Cherie Phaup, a lottery spokeswoman.

Phaup said there were 73 tickets that matched five of the six numbers, each worth $1,071. There were 2,730 tickets that matched four of the six numbers, each worth $61. Another 43,812 tickets matched three of the six numbers, good for a free play.

The estimated jackpot for the Saturday Lotto drawing is $5.5 million.
