ROBBERY SUSPECT HELD

A Roanoke man has been arrested and charged with the armed robbery of a convenience store last month.

Police said today Perry Maurice Finney, 28, of Templeton Avenue Northeast, has been charged with robbery.

Authorities said Finney is accused of entered the Pic Quik store on Melrose Avenue the night of Jan. 4, held a gun to the clerk's head and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
