WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL FUND-RAISER SET SUNDAY

Roanoke College's Xi chapter of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity will hold a wheelchair basketball tournament Sunday to benefit People Understanding the Severely Handicapped.

Teams representing the college faculty, fraternal organizations and the Salem Fire Department will compete, along with the Star City Saints, a Roanoke-based team of disabled athletes.

The tournament will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the college's C. Homer Bast Physical Education and Recreation Center. Admission costs $4 in advance or $5 at the door. Advance tickets are available daily from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Donald M. Sutton Student Center.

People Understanding the Severely Handicapped provides funding and equipment for facilities and schools for the disabled.
