STEPTOE, HERSEY T.

Hersey Thomas Steptoe of 840 Madison Ave., N. W., passed away in a local hospital on Wednesday. He was retired from Norfolk & Western Railway dining car department. Survivors include his wife, Mary Curtis Steptoe; one daughter, Bernice Steptoe Edwards, St. Louis, Mo.; one son, Hersey T. Steptoe, Jr., Atlanta, Ga.; son-in-law, Donald Edwards; granddaughter, Dawn Marie Edwards, both of St. Louis, Mo.; mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Curtis; sister-in-law, Bernice Curtis Moore, brother-in-law, James Curtis; two nieces, one nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made to Apple Ridge Farm, in c/o Mrs. Mary C. Steptoe. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
