Bernadine Carter, age 64, of Roanoke, died February 7, in a local hospital. She is survived by her mother, Ella McClintock, daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Wallace Hammond; three grandchildren, Holly, Blair and Brock, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 3:00 p.m Saturday with the Rev. D. Michael Meloy officiating. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Oakey's South Chapel.
