ROBBERY SUSPECT HELD

A Roanoke man has been arrested and charged with the armed robbery of a convenience store last month.

Perry Maurice Finney, 28, of Templeton Avenue Northeast, has been charged with robbery, police said Thursday.

Authorities said a man entered the Pic Quik store on Melrose Avenue the night of Jan. 4, held a gun to the clerk's head and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
