MOD-U-KRAF HOMES REPORTS INCOME DIP

Mod-U-Kraf Homes Inc., a Rocky Mount maker of modular homes and commercial buildings, on Thursday reported slight declines in net income last year before extraordinary items and sales.

Income was $218,700, down 5 percent from 1989. Sales totaled $6.5 million, down 14 percent. In the fourth quarter, Mod-U-Kraf reported a loss before extraordinary items of $25,331, down from income of $71,010; sales were $1.1 million, down 48 percent. - Staff report
