LITERACY VOLUNTEERS SPONSOR STORY TIME

Literacy Volunteers of America is sponsoring a story time for children Saturday near the food court in New River Valley Mall from noon to 4 p.m.

The program, provided by the Student Virginia Education Associations of Radford University and Virginia Tech, is part of the kickoff for the Literacy Volunteers of America - New River Valley's fourth annual Read-a-thon.

Members of the Student Virginia Education Associations will read stories to the children. There will also be an information table set up at the story time with brochures and videotapes on LVA.
