Mrs. Eula Ruble Looney, age 91, of 1228 Keffield St., Hollins, passed away quietly in her sleep Thursday, February 7, 1991. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and was predeceased by her husband, Jasper S. Looney; and her son, Garmen M. Looney, Sr. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Mareta L. and Doug Dove, Madison, Va.; Wanda L. Whittaker, Roanoke; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9 with the Rev. John P. Dunstan officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
