Sandor will again serve as judge for the final level of competition, conduct a master class and present a solo recital.
The festival begins April 12 with Sandor's master class at 3 p.m. A recital by winners of the 1990 competition, Edit Patocs and Victoria Fischer, will be held at 8 p.m.
Preliminary competition, in which contestants play prepared pieces by composers Bela Bartok and Dmitri Kabalevsky, begins at 9 a.m. on April 13. The final competition begins at 1:30 p.m.on the same day.
The festival ends with a recital by Sandor at 2 p.m. April 14.
The competition is for pianists of all ages, and all events, except for the preliminary level of competition, are open to the public.
