DUBLIN CHURCH BEGINS MISSION FOR TROOPS

Operation Yellow Ribbon, an outreach ministry of Heritage Church, Assemblies of God, is being established.

A member, Sherry Powers, said the church seeks the names, military addresses and birthdays of service men and women involved in Operation Desert Storm. They may be sent to the church at P.O. Box 1565, Dublin. For more information, call 674-9220.

Powers said the service members will be regularly prayed for. A yellow ribbon and identification tag for each will be placed on trees on the church lawn off Virginia 100.

Children of the church already have sent valentines to about 40 in the combat zone. Powers said plans are to remember birthdays with cards also.
