BAPTIST TEAM TO HELP IN BOSTON-AREA PROJECT

A team from First Baptist Church will spend a week in early spring in the Boston area to help build an ecumenical center in Needham. It will house the only 24-hour prayer center in Boston and is to be built through the cooperation of Baptists, Mennonites and a group which retains its Jewish culture but accepts Christ as Messiah.

The project is one of many in which Virginia Southern Baptists have been engaged as they seek to strengthen the church in New England.
