I read in the paper that you will help restage the Civil War battle of Cloyd's Farm at the cost of $5,000.

Isn't the war in the Persian Gulf enough for you?

Hundreds of people in Pulaski County are out of work. Wouldn't it be better to raise $5,000 for them?

> Editor's Note: The Pulaski County Board of Supervisors has agreed to provide limited help such as photocopying materials up to a cost of $100, providing firewood through the help of county jail inmates and possible use of the local fairgrounds. The estimated $5,000 cost of staging the event is to be raised through donations by the Southwest Virginia and East Tennessee Historical Foundation Inc.
