OBIT-MITCHELL, L.

Lawrence Thomas Mitchell, age 70, of Roanoke, died Thursday. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are a son, David Mitchell, Mililani, Hawaii; a daughter, Cindy Sirry, Elizabeth City, N.C.; a special cousin, Margaret Mitchell, Franklin County; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 1991, with the Rev. Nathan T. Leigh officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
