OBIT-YOUNG, G.

Grover S. Young, age 82, of 6141 Poage Valley Road, died Saturday, February 9, 1991, at his home. He was a member of the Roanoke Valley Gem and Mineral Society and a deacon at the Haran Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Georgianna V. Young; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Peggy Young, Vinton; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothea and William Aldredge, Decatur, Ala.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Grace Haislip, Salem; Gladys Bartholow, Frederick, Md.; Mary Frances Coulsom, Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Marvin Young, Goodview. Funeral services will be at Oakey's South Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Dan Stanley and the Rev. William Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
