FREDERICKSBURG - Mrs. Ola Oliver Clement, age 95, formerly of Roanoke, died Friday, February 8 in Fredericksburg, Va. where she had resided for five years. She was the widow of Henry C. Clement. She worked for many years as secretary to the president of Roanoke Grocery and Milling Company and retired as secretary of Oakland Baptist Church where she was a member for 59 years. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy C. Edmonds, and son-in-law, the Rev. John C. Edmonds, of Fredericksburg; two granddaughters, Anne Fauntleroy, Richmond; and Carolyn Helfrich, Fredericksburg; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Butler and Mrs. Edith Clement, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, with the Rev. Kelly Dampeer and the Rev. James Lippincott officiating. Burial will be in Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Blue Ridge. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
