Avenue, N.W., Roanoke, passed away Saturday at the Richfield Nursing Center in Salem. She was the widow of William Emmett Sweeney Sr. Surviving are two sons, William Emmett Sweeney Jr., Roanoke; John Morgan Sweeney, Salem; a daughter, Wanda S. Turner, Clarksville; three brothers, James, Carl and Jack Dillon, all of Roanoke; two sisters, Robbie R. Williams, Salem; Bertha Smith, Lynchburg; a cousin, Beatrice Dooley, Danville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 1991, from the Lotz Salem Chapel. The Rev. Billy G. White Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Fair View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
