WYTHEVILLE - Lettie Lutishie Hedrick Crigger, age 96, of Route 2, died Friday in the Wythe County Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Rufus Morgan and Elizabeth Jane Morris Hedrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fielder Crigger; a son, Ernest Wade Crigger. She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth C. Archer, Wytheville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Fred L. and Mabel Crigger; Loyd W. and Lottie Crigger, all of Wytheville; Rufus R. and Elizabeth Crigger, Rural Retreat; a daughter-in-law, Pauline S. Crigger, Wytheville; one sister, Angie Hedrick Layne, Wytheville; a half sister, Catherine Hedrick Taylor, Richmond; a half brother, Rufus I. Hedrick, Wytheville; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchlidren, and five great-great-granchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Grubb Funeral Home with the interment to follow in the Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home any time after 3:00 p.m. Sunday or at the home of her daughter, Elizabeth Archer in Sunset Village or at her son's home, Fred Crigger, 820 North Third Street, at any time. The Grubb Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
