HALIFAX COUNTY GIRLS NO MATCH FOR KNIGHTS

Five Cave Spring players reached double figures as the Knights demolished Halifax County by 81 points, 92-11, Saturday in non-district high school girls' basketball.

Ali Colgrove scored 16 and Lisa Hodges 15 to lead Cave Spring (16-1). Hodges also had 11 rebounds and Amy Noell added seven assists.

No player scored more than three points for the Comets (1-13).
