PICKEL-PEARSON

Mr. and Mrs. T. Max Pickel announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Christine, to Peter James Pearson, son of Reverend and Mrs. Nathaniel W. Pearson of Orrington, Me.

Ms. Pickel, a graduate of Cave Spring High School, is a junior at Gordon College in Wenham, Ma., and Mr. Pearson is completing his senior year at Oxford University (England). He will graduate from Gordon College in September.

An August wedding is planned.
