GRAY-CHALMERS
COLLIERVILLE, TENN. - Amy Lee Chalmers and L/Cpl. Barry Nelson Gray were
married January 5 in Collierville, Tennessee. Rev. Jesse Newton officiated the
ceremony. The wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's aunt and
uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dixon. The bride's gown was drop-waist style of
candlelight satin with lace overlay. She carried a bouquet of mixed flowers.
The bride's cousin, John Fitzgerald, sang "There is Love" and "The Lord's
Prayer". The bride, a daughter of Roy and Phyllis Chalmers, of Collierville,
graduated from Collierville High School. The groom, a son of the late Henry
"Al" Gray and Marion Suan Gray, of Salem, is a graduate of Salem High School.
He is employed by the U.S. Marine Corps. After the wedding trip to Memphis,
the newlyweds will live in Jacksonville, N.C., where the groom is stationed.
