Jennie Lynn Manson and Brett Roger Hodge were married February 9 in Bedford
Baptist Church. The officiating clergyman was Dr. Robert Rainwater. The
reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Tracey Ritter of
Roanoke. Bridesmaids were Kathy Allen of Bristol, Tenn.; Lynne Snead of
Charleston, S.C.; Sherry Box of Johnson City, Tenn.; Renita Smith of
Charlotte, N.C. The best man was Bill Hodge, father of the groom. The
groomsmen were Barry Manson of Franklin; Kevin Cross of Nashville, Tenn.; Mark
Proffett of Piney Flats, Tenn. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C.
Manson of Bedford. She is a graduate of Liberty High School and Virginia
Intermont College in Bristol, Va. She is employed by Indian Path Pavilion,
Kingsport, Tenn. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hodge of Piney Flats,
Tenn. He is a graduate of Emory and Henry College. He is employed by Hodge
Electrical Contractors, Inc. The newlywed will live in Bluff City, Tenn.,
after the wedding trip to Jamaica.
