SHOULD BE PROUD OF OUR COUNTRY

WE LIVE in a country where we are free. We should be proud of our country, its government and our troops representing us in the Gulf.

I have two brothers who served in the Vietnam War, and I thank God they both came home. I proudly fly the American flag every day. I'm not an advocate of war, but our men and women in the Gulf need all our support and prayers.

It makes me happy to see Americans come together and show their patriotism. When our troops return home, we'll give them a welcome of pride and honor. SOPHIA H. LEEDY BELSPRING
