BULLDOGS CLAIM NINTH DISTRICT TITLE IN A ROW

Martinsville claimed six championships and qualified 12 wrestlers for the Region III tournament next week as the Bulldogs rolled to the Piedmont District wrestling title Saturday at Bassett.

The Bulldogs racked up 230 points to win the Piedmont District for the ninth consecutive year. Once-beaten Lemart Stockton captured the 119-pound title for the Bulldogs and won his fourth consecutive district title.

The Region III tournament will be held this weekend at Lord Botetourt. TEAM SCORES
