BASSETT - Mr. Ronald G. (Buck) Brooks, age 27, of Bassett and formerly of Rocky Mount, died Saturday, February 9, 1991. He is survived by his mother, Mary Kate Brooks, Rocky Mount; father, George Robert Brooks, Rocky Mount; four sisters, Mrs. James (Mary Sue) Lynch, Glade Hill; Helen Stanley, Rocky Mount; Mrs. Jerry (Rhonda) Goad, Bassett; Mrs. Dean (Wanda) Crouch, Gretna; three brothers and one sister-in-law, John and Frances Moore, Alabama; Tony Lee Brooks, Bassett; Jerry Brooks, Rocky Mount; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Chapel by the Rev. Randy Rigney. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home in Rocky Mount.
